Target group:
This course is aimed at anyone who encounters aggression during the course of their job and needs to use an extendable baton in self-defence. No previous knowledge is necessary.

10 hours (including 2 e-learning hours)
Learning objectives:
The participants:
- Know the basics for using a blunt instrument as a weapon
- Know the body target zones according to SAFARILAND (formerly Monadnock)
- Know the various ways to carry and draw the baton
- Can ward off assaults using blocking techniques
- Can employ reasonable baton techniques
- Can free the baton from holds by employing specific techniques

Certificate:
The training is given by SAFARILAND Training Group-certified instructors. Participants receive a certificate to confirm that they have attended the DELTAgroup Academy.
