DELTAgroup joins the 2026 Tour de Suisse

The 2026 Tour de Suisse served as an intensive showcase of DELTAgroup’s modern safety expertise. Five days, two races a day, and maximum proximity to the audience.

The 2026 Tour de Suisse reinvented itself: In a compact format featuring 10 stages over 5 days—with men’s and women’s races held in parallel, each starting and finishing at the same location—Switzerland became a daily cycling festival full of innovation, interaction, and Swiss spirit from June 17 to 21, 2026.

Two races per day, an increased number of circuit stages, and close proximity to the audience made the Tour an intense experience for fans, the media, and partners.

Security Expertise Across 5 Stages in the New Concept

DELTAgroup supported the 2026 Tour de Suisse as the official security partner—for both the men’s and women’s races along the entire route.

Our mandate included implementing and monitoring safety measures throughout the entire event. A comprehensive safety concept was developed in close coordination with the local organizing committees well in advance.

During the Tour, safety measures were continuously reviewed and adapted to the situation—always with a focus on safety and optimal crowd management.

Our core tasks included:

  • Night patrols
  • Access controls
  • Setting up security perimeters in start and finish areas

On the move in operational mode

For the DELTAgroup team, the tour meant a week full of energy, mobility, and flexibility. They covered approximately 634.5 km of racecourse, navigating new locations, changing conditions, and numerous local stakeholders.

This intensive week of operations required precise planning: hotels, meals, accreditations, and operational schedules were carefully organized in advance. Care was also taken to ensure that equipment was appropriate and tailored to the specific needs of the event.

Professional – Friendly – Consistent

Our employees impressed with their calm demeanor, high level of expertise, and many years of event experience. This ensured safety while also guaranteeing respectful treatment of all participants.

Conclusion

The 2026 Tour de Suisse was a successful example of a modern, compact, and audience-friendly cycling event.
We are proud to have been part of this special event as a security partner.

The new format has taken safety planning to a whole new level. The combination of two races per day, compact stages, and proximity to the audience required maximum flexibility, forward-thinking planning, and close cooperation among all partners.
