Events require numerous security services. Besides classic admission controls, security patrols and keeping emergency exits clear, it is also important to ensure that guests arrive and depart safely. To this end, our traffic control staff direct vehicles at event locations. During the arrival phase, our staff coordinate the allocation of the vehicles to nearby multi-storey car parks, direct crowds of visitors and ensure priority for public transport, at all times focussing on the safety of all road users.
Staff are legally required to undergo training before performing traffic control duties on public roads. All traffic control instructors undergo police checks to ensure the quality of this in-house training provided by the DELTAgroup Academy. Three more instructors successfully passed the checks carried out by the Thurgau cantonal police last week. These additional experts ensure sustainable basic and advanced training for DELTAgroup’s traffic control staff. Given the packed concert season ahead, this is designed to allow flexible training planning that takes account of the growing personnel needs of our operations.
