Successful two-night stint at Letzigrund stadium

Rock band Rammstein played two dates at Letzigrund stadium last week, and DELTAgroup was also there. Our biggest teams so far in the current concert season guaranteed security for the whole crowd.

But the work for our employees started several days prior to the first show. Our CrewX stagehands installed temporary infrastructure such as stadium flooring to protect the pitch and sections of the stage while also performing initial access control and guarding duties.

On the show days, our Head of Security issued instructions for the hundreds of security crew members and then assigned them to their positions. Teams of this size are unusual, even for DELTAgroup. Thanks to over 30 years of experience, we are able organise leadership appropriately and realistically assess the time aspects.

We screened around 45,000 fans and their belongings at three entrances with numerous turnstiles on each show day. And we ensured that the crowd was inside the stadium in plenty of time before each show. There were a few minor incidents during the concerts, which our DELTA patrols dealt with effectively.

At the end of the shows, it was a case of ensuring that the crowd left the stadium in an orderly fashion using defined exit routes. This allowed other important service teams such as the cleaning staff, catering team and stage crew to complete their jobs unhindered. As is customary, our personnel received a debriefing and the thanks of our management crew at the end of the job.
