"I’m ready" – the campaign

Find out more about the DELTAgroup’s campaign

Around 8,000 people a year suffer a cardiac arrest in Switzerland – and not even five percent of them survive it. The emergency services can only reach very few patients within the critical period of three to five minutes following the cardiac arrest. Immediate resuscitation measures in the form of CPR/BLS (basic life support) and the use of a defibrillator (AED) would enable far more of these people to survive.

As DELTAgroup staff are often deployed at events or other crowded places, the likelihood of being confronted with one of these incidents is high. The DELTAgroup therefore wants to increase the its employees’ awareness and training depth in this area, which is why it is launching the "I’m ready" campaign. The aim is to launch an extensive information and awareness campaign for the employees in order to shine the spotlight on this issue. At the same time, the employees and their immediate families benefit from discounted BLS-AED training at the DELTA Academy. Part of this campaign involves the certification of the DELTA Academy as a SRC course provider and the procurement of state-of-the-art training aids such as AED training equipment and CPR dummies.

In a further phase, the campaign is being extended to target our many clients in order to make as many people possible aware of the issue. In this way, the DELTAgroup wants to do its bit for prevention and promote the spreading of the messages in accordance with SRC guidelines.
